The hotel

The Kurpark-Hotel sits right on the spa park and is built around the Kurhaus, erected in 1822–1826 on the foundations of the Leiningen castle. The hotel has 113 rooms, the restaurant “Leiningers”, a Tuscan-style garden and a beer garden. It describes the casino as being “in the house”.

The casino

Getting there

Bad Dürkheim station (regional trains and the Rhein-Haardt-Bahn from Mannheim and Ludwigshafen) is about 260 m away, around 4 minutes on foot. The hotel has an underground car park.

Good to know

The Kurhaus was built in 1822–1826 to plans by Johann Bernhard Spatz on the site of the Leiningen castle. It has served as a Kurhaus since 1936, and the casino has been inside since 1949.

Nearby stands the Gradierbau, a 333 m graduation tower of brushwood walls, rebuilt after a fire in 2007.
