The hotel

Hotel Frankenland has welcomed guests for more than 50 years. It has restaurants, a café and bar and the AquaWell pool and sauna world. Since 2021 Bad Kissingen has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage site “Great Spa Towns of Europe”.

The casino

The casino occupies the north wing of the Luitpoldbad, a neo-Renaissance building of 1868–1871. Table games include roulette, blackjack, poker and Dice 52, plus slots. Since 15 August 2025 the casino has had a new restaurant serving Franconian food.

Getting there

Bad Kissingen station is about 800 m from the hotel and about 580 m from the casino.

Good to know

Gaming in Bad Kissingen goes back to around 1800; King Maximilian II banned it in 1849. The casino reopened in 1955, became state-run in 1961 and reopened in 1968 after renovation as the Luitpold-Casino. It celebrated 70 years in 2025.
