Hotel Zugspitze is in Garmisch, a few minutes from the Michael-Ende spa park. It has a spa with pool and whirlpool and a restaurant. The saunas were modernised in summer 2026.

Getting there

Garmisch-Partenkirchen station is about 650 m from the casino.

Good to know

The casino started in 1955 in the “Alpenhof” hotel and moved to Marienplatz in January 1956. The present building went up from 1983 and was extended to about 4,500 m² in 2000.

Bavarian casinos are still closed on these days in 2026: 1 Nov, 15 Nov, 18 Nov, 22 Nov and 24 Dec.

Recent changes

Other hotels near the casino: Die Werdenfelserei (about 270 m, with spa) and Biohotel Garmischer Hof (about 300 m). By the station, HENRI Hotel opened on 6 July 2026 in the former Reindl's Partenkirchner Hof (about 870 m to the casino).
