The hotel

The Bayerischer Hof stands right on the historic harbour, opposite the island station. It was built in 1853 facing the new station and is now linked with the neighbouring Reutemann and Seegarten houses. There are three restaurants and cafés and the Maximilian SPA.

The casino

Spielbank Lindau is a four-storey round building by Viennese architect Hans Lechner, opened on 15 July 2000, with large windows facing Lake Constance. Since 2020 the ground floor has combined live tables and slots in the “Spiel-Arena”. Games include roulette, blackjack and poker.

Getting there

The hotel is about 90 m from Lindau-Insel station. Long-distance trains Munich–Zurich stop only at Lindau-Reutin on the mainland; city buses run from there to the island.
